FAQ
Common questions about PeaceRise, the ecosystem, and how to get involved.
PeaceRise is a global directory and ecosystem connecting over 240 members across 34 countries. Organizations, ventures, researchers, and individuals register to get discovered, post opportunities, and connect with the peace community. The ecosystem is organized through three pathways: Be Good (personal growth), Do Good (community action), and Dream Good (innovation).
PeaceTech is the application of technology to promote peace and address challenges in conflict resolution, economic prosperity, and environmental sustainability. It encompasses tools and platforms that facilitate dialogue, support community organizing, enable cross-border collaboration, and measure social impact. PeaceRise is built on the belief that technology can be a powerful force for peace when paired with human intention and community.
A Peace Partner is your personal profile in the PeaceRise ecosystem — it's how you show up as an individual. As a Peace Partner, you get a public profile, access to opportunities and events, and can connect with the global community. If you also represent an organization, you can register it separately and link it to your Peace Partner profile. It's free and takes about two minutes to set up.
If you represent an organization, register it in the ecosystem directory to get a public profile, post opportunities, and become discoverable. If you're an individual, set up a Peace Partner profile to connect with the community, browse opportunities, and find organizations doing work you care about. You can also browse events, volunteer roles, and resources on the Engage page. There's no minimum commitment — contribute when and how you can.
The PeaceRise Innovation Challenge was a global competition held in 2024. Over 200 participants from 26 countries submitted 24 projects judged on innovation, feasibility, and impact, with $6,000 in prizes. It was the founding event that grew PeaceRise from an idea into a global community.
Yes. PeaceRise is completely free to join and use. Creating a Peace Partner profile, registering an organization, browsing the ecosystem directory, accessing opportunities and events, and using the peacerise.app mindfulness tool are all free.
PeaceRise is an ecosystem platform, not a single program or service. Instead of running one initiative, it connects many — organizations, ventures, researchers, and individuals — into a shared directory with pathways for personal growth, community action, and innovation. It also pairs the ecosystem with a personal practice tool (peacerise.app) so individuals can take daily action alongside the organizations they discover. The goal is infrastructure for peace, not just another nonprofit.
Register your organization, be discoverable, post opportunities, and join a global community building toward peace. Or join as a Peace Partner — your personal profile in the ecosystem.
