Our Mission

Why We Do
What We Do.

We help organizations and individuals working toward peace find each other, collaborate, and grow. Our vision is to become the directory where anyone in the peace space can register, get discovered, and connect with the right partners.

PeaceRise is built on the conviction that everyone can contribute to a more peaceful world — whether you run an NGO, lead a research group, build technology for peace, or simply want to get involved.

Our ecosystem brings together organizations across disciplines — from technology to design, academia to non-profits — all discoverable in one place and connected through shared pathways.

“Peace isn’t a destination you arrive at — it’s something you build, together, every single day.”

— PeaceRise Founding Principle

Our Commitment

We are building a community where every Peace Partner is heard, valued, and empowered. We protect your ideas, respect your contributions, and create space for everyone to do their best work.

FAQ

Common Questions

Answers to the most common questions about PeaceRise, our platforms, and how it all works.

Who runs PeaceRise?

PeaceRise was founded in 2023 and grew through the 2024 Innovation Challenge into a global ecosystem. The team behind PeaceRise builds and maintains both peacerise.global and peacerise.app. You can reach the team at connect@peacerise.global.

How does PeaceRise work?

PeaceRise is primarily a global directory and ecosystem at peacerise.global — where organizations, ventures, researchers, and individuals register, get discovered, post opportunities, and connect. We also offer peacerise.app, a personal companion tool where individuals can log peaceful acts and contribute to the International Peace Timer. Hours logged by members show up on their organization's directory profile.

What are the three pathways?

PeaceRise organizes engagement through three pathways. Be Good focuses on personal growth — mindfulness, self-awareness, and wellbeing. Do Good focuses on community action — volunteering, local projects, and direct service. Dream Good focuses on innovation — launching ventures, conducting research, and building PeaceTech solutions. Every organization, opportunity, and resource in the ecosystem is tagged to one or more of these pathways.

How do I register an organization?

Visit the Register page at peacerise.global/ecosystem/register, sign in with your Google account, and fill out the adaptive registration form. You'll describe your organization, select its type (organization, venture, initiative, or research group), choose relevant pathways, and optionally upload a logo. Submissions are reviewed by the PeaceRise team and typically approved within a few days. Registering is free.

What is the International Peace Timer?

The International Peace Timer is a collective clock that counts the total time people around the world spend practicing peace. When Peace Partners log peaceful acts on peacerise.app — meditation, volunteering, community work, or creative projects — the time is added to the global counter. The timer appears on the peacerise.global homepage and represents the cumulative peaceful minutes contributed by the entire community.

How can organizations benefit from joining PeaceRise?

Organizations registered in the PeaceRise ecosystem get a public profile page discoverable in the directory and on the community map. They can post opportunities (volunteer roles, jobs, grants, internships) and events that reach the Peace Partner network. They're categorized by pathway and type, making them findable by people looking for exactly what they offer. There's no cost to register or maintain a profile.
