Welcome to PeaceRise Global. By accessing or using peacerise.global and peacerise.app (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, registering an entity, or otherwise using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Services

PeaceRise Global provides an ecosystem directory that connects organizations, ventures, researchers, and individuals working toward peace. Our Services include:

  • An ecosystem directory for peace-focused entities
  • Peace Partner profiles for individuals
  • Opportunity and event listings
  • A Peace Timer for mindfulness and peace practice tracking
  • Community features and resources

3. Account Registration

  • You must sign in using a valid Google account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate, current information when registering entities or creating profiles.
  • You must be at least 13 years of age to use our Services.

4. User Conduct

When using our Services, you agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in entity registrations or profiles
  • Impersonate any person or organization
  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to promote violence
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or administrative features without authorization
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without consent
  • Submit spam, promotional material, or unsolicited messages through the platform

5. Entity Registration and Content

  • All entity registrations are subject to review and approval by PeaceRise administrators.
  • We reserve the right to reject, remove, or suspend any entity listing that violates these Terms or does not align with our mission.
  • You retain ownership of content you submit (logos, descriptions, etc.) but grant PeaceRise a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it within the ecosystem directory.
  • You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that it does not infringe on any third party's rights.

6. Peace Partner Profiles

  • Peace Partner profiles are visible in the public directory based on your visibility settings.
  • You control which profile fields are publicly displayed through your dashboard.
  • Auto-generated peace slugs (e.g., "peace-dove86") serve as your public profile URL and cannot be changed once assigned.

7. Intellectual Property

The PeaceRise name, logo, design system, and original content are the property of PeaceRise. You may not use our branding, trademarks, or content without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee any entity listed in the ecosystem directory.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PeaceRise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to interactions with entities listed in the directory.

10. Moderation and Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • We may remove content or entity listings at our discretion.
  • You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
